The four Harriers had to divert
from Keflavik on Friday 16th September, 2005, in the afternoon due to very bad conditions there.
Reykjavík was better so they landed there about 15:00 hours in pouring rain.
They are normally based at RAF Cottesmore, but flew here from Kinloss,
Scotland. They left on Monday 19th. at 13:00 hours with about 1 minute between takeoffs from runway 31. This is the first to takeoff. |
