Lajes, Azores on 9.9.1959. 9 Sep 1959, VP-731, preparing for flight to Rota, Spain for 2 week cruise. Planes arrived in Lajes late on 8 Sep 59 and spent the night before continuing on to Rota. Planes returned to Grosse Ile on Sat. 19 Sep 59. Planes are: 201 124875, 202 124867, 203 127740, 204 127734 and 205 127737. -- John Sanger
