All Danish language skills are trained continuously throughout the semester. Students read Danish texts and solve different tasks based on them. They listen to various narratives and conversations in Danish, which are conducted by native speakers in the form of ready-made listening exercises, as well as news on Danish television. The writing skills of students are practised through various types of written assignments and different styles are applied. Students will practise oral competence through assignments, both individual and more detailed assignments, conducted in groups. Emphasis is placed on the use of information technology in the course. Therefore, students are encouraged to take advantage of technology for the acquisition of information and to use various forms of electronic media. Students make a news release about the various topics they are interested in or are working on in class. Students are required to make a script and cite sources as well as recording it and presenting in class. Students get a grade for the project and work in a group consisting of four members.
The focus is on training students to understand better the spoken and written form of the language. Different reading methods (screening through a text and detailed reading) are used to enhance students´ skills in reading different texts. Students will be trained to express themselves orally and in writing about issues relating to the daily life and interests of young people. Students will practise using dictionaries and there is emphasis on teaching pronouns and different cases of verbs. Students perform various kind of listening exercises in order to understand better topics that are currently relevant. There is emphasis on conversational exercises, which train students to have a conversation on certain topics. Students will have regular speaking opportunities. Writing is practised through various exercises and assignments related to reading and listening materials. Students regularly write short texts related to the course work. Students gather information for their written assignments online, in printed dictionaries, at the library, and the daily newspapers.
There are also various electronic programs used for the preparation of the different projects. Students listen regularly to audio programs and watch Danish films and programs. Students get acquainted with various aspects of the Danish culture. Special emphasis is placed on the independence of students in education, the use of information technology and media, as well as collaboration between students. During the oral examination at their final exam, students bring a project folder with five selected projects and they are expected to present at least one of them.

The course is a beginners’ course. The course will provide the student with a general introduction to the French language; its sound system, pronunciation, the use of functional vocabulary related to everyday life, some cultural information related to the French Speaking countries, and basic grammatical structures. Emphasis will be on the acquisition of four skills: listening, speaking, reading and limited writing skills. The main objective of the course is to teach students to carry out a simple conversation in French. In addition to direct language teaching, students get a brief insight into the culture and traditions of France and other countries with French ties.
The course is at the level A1 in the European Language Portfolio.

In this course, students are expected to further their knowledge gained in the course French 1. This course will also reinforce the skills learned in the course French 1, especially listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Emphasis is on perfecting pronunciation, mastery of the basic grammatical structures, and increased communicative proficiency. Acquisition of functional vocabulary is expected.
The main objectives of the course are to give the students the ability to carry out a simple conversation in familiar circumstances, and continue to deepen the students’ vocabulary, and grammatical concepts as well as increasing intercultural understanding.

In this course, students are expected to further their knowledge gained in the courses French 1 and 2. The course is designed to allow students to use and add to their knowledge acquired in courses 1 and 2, as well as an introduction to new vocabulary, grammatical features and expressions. Students will be expected to expand their vocabulary range to include aspects of a wider field of topics.
The main objectives of the course are to continue to widen the students’ vocabulary and grammatical proficiency as well as to improve oral fluency so they can express themselves in ordinary circumstances on topics related to their personal life and other familiar topics.

In this course, students are expected to further their knowledge gained in the courses French 1, 2 and 3. In this course, students are expected to further their knowledge gained in earlier courses. In this course, the main focus will be on oral expression as well as practising listening, reading and writing skills. New themes are introduced and students will continue to work with task-based projects based on their interest. Students will continue to work with aspects of traditions and cultures of the French Speaking countries, as well as topics that relate to their everyday lives, interests, and surroundings.
The objectives of the course are to continue to extend grammatical concepts acquired in the courses French 1-3, and further develop and refine language fluency as well as successfully operate technology applicable to classroom activities.
The course is at the level A2/B1 in the European Language Portfolio.
This course further emphasizes the four basic skills of language learning; speaking, listening, reading and writing as well as increased grammar and vocabulary acquisition. As previously this course focuses on theme based projects reflecting society, culture, music and the culinary arts. Learners study a variety of short stories, poetry and fiction from a more challenging perspective than previously as well as audio and visual material. Learners work on independent oral and written assignments and practice oral proficiency presenting their work to their peers. The course concludes with an individual research project related to the arts and/or philosophy of the French speaking world. The focus of this course is increased learners’ autonomy in oral and written assignments. This course qualifies as B1 of the CEFR.

It provides students with cultural information related to the Spanish Speaking countries, and basic grammatical rules. The emphasis will be on the acquisition of four skills: listening, speaking, reading and limited writing skills. Students will learn the present tense, regular and irregular verbs, as well as reflexive verbs, pronouns, and adjectives. The course level is at A1 according to The Common European Framework of References for Languages.
The main objectives of the course are to give the students the ability to carry out a simple conversation, and provide the student with a basic understanding of the Latin American and Spanish culture, vocabulary, and grammatical concepts.

In this course, students are expected to further their knowledge gained in the course Spanish 1. This course will also reinforce the skills learned in Spanish 1, i.e. listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The emphasis is on perfecting pronunciation, mastery of the basic grammatical structures, and increased communicative proficiency. Students are expect to acquire functional vocabulary. Students will study the present tense, the simple future, the imperative, gerund, and prepositions as well as adjectives. Students will be expected to apply these grammatical rules in writing and speaking. The course level is at A1-A2 according to The Common European Framework of References for Languages.
The main objectives of the course are to give the students the ability to carry out a simple conversation in familiar circumstances, and continue to add to the students’ vocabulary, and grammatical concepts as well as increasing intercultural understanding.

Students will be expected to expand their vocabulary range to include aspects of a wider field of topics. Verb tenses such as the preterite tense, the imperfect and the perfect tense will be introduced and students will be expected to use these tenses correctly in writing and oral expression.
