This course covers the books and films by J.K. Rowling about Harry Potter. A selected book will be read and its content discussed. One film will be watched, and a project will be based on it. In addition, characters and events from other books and films will be examined, and the books will be compared to the films and other derivative works. There will be a strong emphasis on oral expression, writing, and creative participation by the students. Students will work extensively in groups, and the course is gamified to a certain extent. All work in the course will be conducted in English.

Assessment:
Assessment will be based on short assignments, both formal and creative, essays, and more informal short texts. Formal tests on one movie and one substantial novel is part of the grade. Students are expected to actively participate in classes and discussions.
